If you can dream it, I can paint it.

Plenty of talent.  No ego attached.   I'll help you define your own vision and bring it to life.

Look for this year's holiday window decorations at Luther Hopkins Honda!  Below, a flock of happy penguins at the Kids' Play Area inside the dealership.

This painting is 7' wide and 7'6" high, and is in a home in Bloomington, MN. It occupies one wall of the eat-in kitchen.

Total working time was approximately 40 hours (this includes the proposal sketch and time finding reference photos).  I completed this beautiful scene in one week.

Above, a close-up of the two bunnies who are hiding from the fox in the Bloomington mural.

Below is the earlier mural that inspired this one.  The original fox-and-rabbit mural was for an antiques dealer who wanted a very European feeling, while the Bloomington homeowners wanted their landscape to look like Minnesota.

Below: the view looking in from the front door.

This client was an antiques dealer who specialized in Victorian items.  Together, we combined her historical art sources with fresh ideas for a charming, welcoming new work of art.

The pheasant family came directly from an antique painting photographed in Europe by the homeowner.
We changed the landscape, softening the look and adding flowers and other elements -- such as the rabbit, below -- not present in the original.

Above and below, a soft ochre-and-sepia landscape for an older, and old-fashioned, home on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This is the upstairs billiards room, which I painted on all four walls with a Tuscany-style landscape.

Below: southwestern landscape in a family room, Cape Coral, Florida.  The little boy in this house thought the mustangs were the greatest thing ever, and I was inclined to agree.

Above: Design sketch for a motorcycle mural. I'm capable of almost any subject matter or style. For many things, I'm just waiting on someone to ask me.  If you don't see what you want here, it's simply because no one else has ever requested it.

Below: an old door becomes a whole new scene.

Above, a niche in which I reproduced a scene the homeowner photographed in Europe.  The painting is approximately six feet wide by eight feet high at the center of the arch.  Done in oils (with a quick-drying medium added to reduce risk of accidental smudging) it was completed in approximately 40 hours.

Below, a kitchen wall treatment involving texture, glazing, and custom paint to coordinate with an existing backsplash above the range.
