Above and below: scenes from the lobby and offices at Royal Shell Vacations, Sanibel Island, Florida. Royal Shell is run by some outstanding people and I highly recommend them; their service and attitude are pure gold.
Above: detail of Frank the Heron at the Royal Shell lobby. Below: Royal Shell's office hallway.
Ladies' room at Royal Shell's offices, above. Below, the men's room, which was the first thing I painted here.
Spike the Iguana, below. Randy Bacik of Royal Shell asked me for an iguana, so I gave him a great big one! I love Spike and so do all the guys at Royal Shell.
Below, an old-fashioned romantic image for Graham Jewelers, on Lake Street in downtown Wayzata.
This piece is painted on a nine-by-twelve-foot canvas; the actual image is about eight by eleven feet. Seen here just after completion,
but before being hung in its intended spot.
And here's the window with the painted canvas hanging inside.
The picture gives privacy and sun protection to the upstairs office, and a few small lights illuminate it at night.
Above and below: Winter/holiday paintings on interior plate glass windows at Luther Hopkins Honda in Hopkins, MN. This art is temporary.
The paints used here are the same acrylics I use on regular walls, and are removable with a scraper.
More from Luther Hopkins Honda. Below, a fox looks in from outside.
